when is the best time for photos?
My favourite sessions are always around sunset, thats where you get that beautiful golden glow and sun kissed look. Times to avoid are between 11am-3pm, the lighting becomes very harsh when the sun is right above you so i tend to dodge this one by shooting indoors or at a later session time.
What should we wear or pack?
While this can heavily depend on your session i always suggest neutrals, jeans, linens etc etc. Avoid crazy patterns and bright colours (no neon's). I am always happy to discuss outfits and help plan when you have booked :)
How do your travel fee's work?
Travel is typically charged at $1 per kilometre (return trip).
Every booking is unique, and for larger bookings or full day weddings, travel fees may be reduced or waived at my discretion.
What locations do you recommend?
My favourite locations are Mount Osmond, a beautiful over look of the city on a grassy hill ( perfect for sunset sessions ). The beach! I often do sessions at Maslins beach, there are also some sand dunes to roam around in and make for great photos. Your home, i love capturing people in their own space, no matter the session. Happy to discuss and find the perfect option for you!
I dont know how to pose, will i look awkward?
Almost everyone feels a little awkward before a shoot, its normal i promise. My job is to make sure you are comfortable and to make it feel like I'm not really there! My goal is more of the natural moments that come in during session rather than... prom photos? Ill be there every step of the way to make sure you love your photos.

What happens if...
What happens if im sick? orrr terrible weather? or you need to reschedule?
Regular sessions:
Life happens! Whether it's illness, an emergency or poor weather, just get in touch as soon as possible. If I need to reschedule, I'll work with you to find a new date that suits us both. If you're unable to attend due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, your booking can be transferred to another available date. My priority is making sure you have the best possible experience and conditions for your session.
Weddings:
Whether it's unexpected weather or an unforeseen emergency, I always have a backup plan. Rain simply means we'll adjust locations and make the most of the day. some of the most beautiful wedding photos are captured in less than perfect weather. In the extremely unlikely event that I'm unable to photograph your wedding due to serious illness or an emergency, I'll do everything possible to arrange a trusted replacement photographer so your day is still beautifully documented.
Will you post my photos on social media?
Yes. BUT - If you are coming to me for a pregnancy announcement or are secretly eloping or anything similar please let me know! i am happy to wait!!
My photography portfolio and social media are a huge part of my business, and they allow future clients to see my work and the moments I'm so passionate about capturing. Because of this, all bookings are made with the understanding that I may share images from your session or wedding across my website and social media.
I completely understand that this may not be the right fit for everyone, but I am no longer accepting bookings where photos cannot be shared. I put so much love and hard work into every gallery, and being able to showcase that work is an important part of growing my business. If you have any concerns about specific images, I'm always happy to have a chat and work with you where possible.
Can i bring my dog?
Ummm absolutely!! You can bring your horse, cat, cow WHATEVER if you want to. any furry friends are welcome at your session!
